HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

If you need hotel room in Budapest during the meeting or you intend to take part in the optional programs, please fill in the enclosed REGISTRATION FORM and forward it to CONTOURS Congress Bureau not later than May 31, 2004.

A limited number of rooms has been reserved at each hotel. Hotel reservation will be made on a first-come first-served basis. If the hotel requested is fully booked, we will offer an other hotel. Prices in every hotel are to be understood per night per room and include breakfast.

HOTEL SOFITEL ATRIUM BUDAPEST***** (H-1051 Budapest, Roosevelt tér 2.) is the nearest hotel to the conference venue. It is a luxury hotel located in the city center, convenient to shopping centers, tourist attractions and entertainment. The meeting site is situtated in the opposite side of Roosevelt Square.

HOTEL Le MERIDIEN***** (H-1051 Budapest, Erzsébet tér 9-10.) is situated in the heart of the city. It is an elegant new luxurious hotel with unique furnishing and a beautiful swimming pool on the top floor decorated by coloured tiles. The meeting site can be reached by 10 minutes walk or by bus No. 16 (1 stop).

HOTEL MERCURE KORONA**** (H-1053 Budapest, Kecskeméti u. 14.) is situated near to the city center. The meeting site can be reached by bus No. 15 (3 stops), then bus No. 16 (1 stop).

HOTEL TAVERNA**** (H-1052 Budapest, Váci u. 20.) The hotel is situated in the most elegant walking street of the city center. The meeting site can be reached by 10 minutes walk or by bus No. 15 (1 stop) and by bus No. 16 (1 stop).

CITY HOTEL PILVAX*** (H-1052 Budapest, Pilvax köz 1-3.) It is situated very near to Hotel Taverna in the city center. The meeting site can be reached by 10 minutes walk or by bus No. 15 (1 stop) and by bus No. 16 (1 stop).

HOTEL MERCURE DUNA*** (H-1095 Budapest, Soroksári út 12.) is situated in a newly reconstructed area of Pest side. The meeting site can be reached by tram No. 2 (6 stops).

HOTEL HILL** (H-1118 Budapest, Ménesi út 5.) is situated at the foot of Gellért Hill. This is a student hotel of the College of Administration. Two rooms share one bathroom. The meeting site can be reached by tram No. 6 from Móricz Zsigmond Square (3 stops until Pest side) then by tram No. 2 (6 stops). You can use the swimming pool and sauna of the hotel at extra cost.

HOTEL GRIFF JUNIOR*(H-1113 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 152.) is the most far hotel from the meeting site. Rooms are simply furnished and clean, with shower. The meeting site can be reached by tram No. 49 till Móricz Zsigmond Square, than by tram No. 6 (3 stops until Pest side), and by tram No. 2 (6 stops).

EÖTVÖS STUDENT HOSTEL* (H-1118 Budapest, Ménesi út 11-13.) is situated at the same area as Hotel Hill. NO breakfast here, the bathrrom is common. The meeting site can be reached by tram No. 6 from Móricz Zsigmond Square (3 stops until Pest side) then by tram No. 2 (6 stops). Rooms are available from 5 to 9 September because of the beginning of the school-year.

All requests, changes or cancellation should be directed to the address of CONTOURS.

PAYMENT

The total payment of hotel and optional programs should be directed to CONTOURS Congress Bureau. You can use the following ways of payment: • credit card (AMEX, Eurocard/Mastercard, VISA, Diners are accepted). Please note that all charges will be made one month prior to arrival. • bank transfer to account no. 10200885-32613003-00000000 to KHB (Commercial and Credit Bank) (H-1539 Budapest 114, P.O.Box 624), made out to the order of CONTOURS, indicating your name and „EAC’ 2004”. Bank transfer should reach us till August 6, 2004 the latest.

After getting your Registration Form a confirmation will be sent by CONTOURS confirming your request.

Please kindly note that in case of bank transfer the deadline of payment is July 30, 2004 so if the payment is not effected we have to cancel the hotel reservation after that date.

CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION

Cancellation should be sent in writing to CONTOURS until August 13, 2004 the latest. One night hotel cost plus EUR 14,- handling fee will be deducted from the refund. No refund will be made after August 25.

TRANSPORTATION

If you arrive by plane in our capital, we suggest you to use the LRI MINIBUS Service. Information desk (operator) for mini-bus service is in the centre of the arrival lobby. You can order this service inside the baggage claim area as well. The price of it is HUF 2.100,-/pers. (approx. EUR 9,-) one way. Back to the airport you can order this service at your hotel one day prior to departure.

Public transportation is extensive, reliable and inexpensive. Fares can not be paid on board and there are fines for travelling without a validated ticket. Tickets are valid for one ride only. A new ticket must be used every time you change lines. Tickets can be purchased at metro stations, hotels and tobacco shops. The most economic solution is is to buy a weekly ticket at metro stations at HUF 2.700,- (approx. EUR 11,-) which is valid for 7 days. No photo is required.
